It’s finally here! UpKeep’s Android users can now add meter readings as a form item in their work orders. We heard from our customers that meter readings are a task that will commonly be required when conducting and completing a work order. We recognized that it was tedious to enter a meter reading on a work order as a numerical form item and then making the same update to the relevant meter. With this new addition, technicians can enter a meter reading directly to a work order and have it update the relevant meter in real-time.
Meter Reading as a Form Item
In addition to meter readings as a form item, users will notice a new and improved look of the Assets list and Locations Add and Edit pages. When viewing the Assets page, our users will never have to guess the operational status of an asset. As you scroll through your list of assets, the assigned operational status will appear as a badge with the designated status color. While scrolling, users will also find the description has made its way to the top! The description will be listed directly below the asset title so the viewer can gather the necessary information at first glance.
When editing a location, users will not only see a new look but additional helpful information such as the number of Workers, Teams, Vendors, and Customers assigned to each location:
