UpKeep, maker of maintenance management software, announced today that it has added a new maintenance work request portal that enables property managers give their tenants access to a company request portal to create work requests which can be managed through UpKeep. The portal, available as a web application, is part of UpKeep’s overall package of tools that help asset owners, such as property managers or facility managers, streamline the maintenance management process.

Through the portal, anyone with a company specific URL can submit work request tickets that will go straight to the maintenance manager to be dispatched. For example, users can use a mobile device to take a photo of a broken AC unit, create a work request which will be sent directly to your maintenance technician for repair. UpKeep is suitable for facility, property, restaurant, and manufacturing managers looking to improve communication by enabling real-time status updates.
