Welcoming Josh Strouse to the UpKeep Family!
We’re so excited to welcome Josh to the team this week! Josh is joining us as our Business Development Rep, and we couldn’t be more thrilled to have him on board! Here is our interview with him!
We’re excited to welcome you to the UpKeep family today, Josh! Tell us a little about yourself!
Hi, I’m Josh and I currently live in Texas. I have a passion for cooking for friends and family and have spent 4 years in the U.S. Coast Guard as an engineer. I play the guitar, trumpet, and baritone and love watching historical documentaries!
How did you first get into Sales?
When I was 16, to earn extra money, I sold concert tickets over the phone for the Denver Fraternal Order of Police and I’ve been selling ever since.
Why are you excited to join UpKeep?
I’m excited to be a part of an organization that puts the customer before profit and to be promoting a product that has a truly positive impact on the industry.
What are your first thoughts about the culture and team so far?
I’m blown away by how each person I have interacted with so far genuinely cares about my success here at UpKeep and I feel a sense of belonging already.
Josh, you mentioned you went to culinary school and are passionate about cooking. What is one of your favorite things to cook and why?
One of my favorite things to cook is Caldo de Res because for me it means family and warming up on a chilly day.
Finally, and most importantly, what would you be if you were a kitchen utensil?
I would be those little corn holders for holding corn on the cob because they look silly but are actually pretty useful.
