Welcome to UpKeep — Todd Junker

Ryan Chan

Welcoming Todd Junker to the UpKeep Family!

We’re so excited to welcome Todd to the team this week! Todd is joining us as our newest Senior Customer Success Manager, and we couldn’t be more thrilled to have him starting! Here is our interview with him!

We’re excited to welcome you to the UpKeep family today, Todd! Tell us a little about yourself!

My name is Todd Junker! I was born and raised in Stillwater, Minnesota. Then, moved to Southwest Florida for college in 2007 where I attended Florida Gulf Coast University. I graduated in 2012 with a Bachelor’s degree in Communications. Upon graduation, I decided to stay in Southwest Florida, where I met my wife, and also received my first job with a CMMS company. My wife and I were married in October of 2019 and welcomed our first child this past June. In my spare time I love to golf and fish, but also like to kick back and play video games from time to time. I also love to cook and often use that as my meditation time.

Why are you excited to join UpKeep?

What excites me the most about joining UpKeep is the opportunity to work with a young and quickly rising company. I am very excited to take what I have learned in my past experience of working with CMMS and incorporating that into my current role. I cannot wait to see how UpKeep grows and continues to develop overtime.

What are your first thoughts about the culture and team so far?

I have received the warmest welcome from the entire team and am so appreciative of everyone’s willingness to help in the early stages of my time with UpKeep.  The energy from the team is intoxicating and has certainly made me even more excited to get under way in my new position.

Todd, we know you’re a big Harry Potter fan! So we have to know – which Hogwarts house do you belong to and if you had the ability to use ONE spell for the rest of your life, which one would it be?

With so many great spells out there, it’s hard to choose just one. I suppose it would have to be the ability to “Apparate” so I could disappear from one location and appear in any location that I want. It would make visiting my family, friends and colleagues so much easier.

Finally, and most importantly, what would you be if you were a kitchen utensil?

I would be a meat tenderizer because I can be used to help make cooking (processes) much more efficient, but also be used as a hammer in a pinch.

Welcome, Todd!
