We’re excited to welcome you to the UpKeep family, Victoria! Tell us a little about yourself.

I’m a California native and recent Los Angeles transplant. My passions are being outside in any capacity: hiking, walking, running, gardening (I even love taking out the garbage if it gets me out of the house) and road trips. I love marketing and am super excited to be here at UpKeep!

How did you first get into Customer Marketing?

I got my first taste of customer marketing about 10 years ago and was hooked! It combines two of my great passions: helping people and organizing. My goal is to design marketing programs that will help our customers thrive wherever they are in the customer lifecycle and I can’t wait to get started!

Why are you excited to join UpKeep?

Everyone here loves what they do. From the product to the people, the UpKeep vision and core values radiate throughout every member of the UpKeep team.

What are your first thoughts about the culture and team so far?

The culture here is awesome. From my first interview to my first day, everyone I’ve met has been so enthusiastic, funny, friendly and kind. I’m very grateful to work in such a welcoming space.

We have to know – what is the story behind running into grizzlies hiking in the Grand Tetons?

We (husband and I) were returning from a fairly long hike. Close to dusk, we rounded a corner and were met by two precious little teddy bears and a large mother grizzly. Thankfully we caught her in a good mood and she basically ignored us but we were stranded on the trail for about 10 minutes until she decided to move on. Before that, I had only seen bears in a zoo so it was incredible.

And finally, perhaps most importantly, what would you be if you were a kitchen utensil?

I would be a non-stick pan. I like to keep everything nice and tidy. 🙂
