How to Manage your UpKeep Push and Email Notifications

UpKeep sends email notifications and push notifications on your mobile devices. This article explains how you can manage those notifications.

On the UpKeep mobile apps for iOS and Android, each user can also set personal reminders for work orders! Check out the last section for more information on how to manage your MOBILE notifications!

NOTE: Keep in mind this applies only to individual users, you cannot toggle on/off someone else’s email or push notifications.


How to Manage Your Email Notifications

Users have the option to choose the email notifications that they wish to receive. You can disable and enable:

  • Email Updates for Work Orders and Messages

  • Email Updates for Requested Work Orders

  • Daily Summary Emails

  • When a Part becomes low stock

  • Purchase Order Emails

Steps:

  1. Start by selecting Profile (click the person icon in the upper right)

  2. Then, select Notification Settings

  3. Toggle on/off to Enable/Disable all Email Notifications or when toggled ON, select the emails you do want.

  4. Once toggled, the Settings will save!


How to Manage Push Notifications on your Mobile Devices

You can download UpKeep’s mobile apps for iOS and Android. If your push notifications are enabled for the app, you’ll also receive push notifications when relevant!

The mobile app also has a built-in notifications hub in case you miss a push notification!

For iOS:

  1. First, navigate to your Settings section and tap on Edit Profile

  2. Then, select Push Notification Settings to be redirected to your iOS device’s UpKeep app settings.

  3. Or you can also navigate straight to your device’s app settings

  4. Tap on Notifications and make sure “Allow Notifications” is toggled on

  5. Adjust your alerts the way you prefer and you’re all set!

For Android:

  1. You’ll need to start in your Android device’s settings and navigate to Apps and select UpKeep

  2. Then tap on Notifications

  3. Make sure that “Show Notifications” is toggled on

  4. Adjust your preferences as needed and you’re all set!
