UpKeep Gives Back Over $100,000 in Credits to Customers Impacted by the Coronavirus
Lending a Hand to our Customers
At UpKeep, we know that these are uncertain and trying times for many businesses due to the effects of the COVID-19 crisis. Our customers run across some of the hardest hit industries and are dealing with a completely new normal.
To lend a helping hand, we doubled down on our commitment to our customers by giving those who were critically impacted by COVID-19 a one month UpKeep account credit.
If our customers did not need the credits, they were given the option to pay the credits forward to an organization working on the frontlines. For those who paid it forward, we donated to Direct Relief on their behalf. In total, we gave out approximately $100,000 worth of credits to our hardworking and dedicated customers.
Here is an uplifting response we received from a customer who will be using the credit:
“Thank you and super cool. The credit will help because our centers are closed, no revenue. This relief is so needed and so appreciated. Thank you and be well, safe, and healthy.” – A Child’s Place
Here is an amazing response we received from a customer who will be paying the credit forward:
“Thank you for keeping us going. We would like to pay the credit forward to someone who could really use it. Although the pandemic is affecting us, we know there might be others out there worst off. We hope this small token will help them. Stay safe.” – Vina Robles Amphitheatre
Customers over Revenue
From the very beginning, one of our core values at UpKeep has been customers over revenue. Our CEO, Ryan Chan, explains,
“We strive to treat our customers the way we would like to be treated. We anticipate their needs, actively listen to their requests, and care deeply about creating value for them.
At the end of the day, it is more important for us to do right by our customers than to worry about the most lucrative option. Our customers come first, and our team at UpKeep will continue to put them first even in this unique period in time.”
While many of us have the option to work remotely or stay at home, folks here at UpKeep included, there are so many people who do not have that option. Our customers are those who keep our tap water on, electricity going, facilities tidy, food stocked in groceries, and so much more.

Even putting their own health at risk for the sake of keeping our society moving. The incredible work you are all doing is not going unnoticed.
